Who this is

Grudgy is operated by Nicolás Rodrigues. Questions go to hello@grudgy.app.

grudgy.app is a marketing site, plus the certificate pages people serve each other. It has no checkout and no account signup. The product lives in the iPhone app.

The product

Grudgy is a joke. You log who wronged you and how badly, and the grudge runs for a term set by its severity: Mildly annoying 1 day, Petty 3 days, Rude 2 weeks, Betrayal 3 months, Unforgivable 4 years. You can also set your own term, from 1 hour to 10 years. When a term runs out, you renew it or forgive. Moru the Judge’s verdicts are comedy.

Grudgy is provided as it is, and may change or stop.

Accounts

You create an account with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters, and choose the name printed on your certificates. Use your own name. You are responsible for what is done with your account, so keep the password to yourself.

What we store (summary)

On your account: email and hashed password; the name on your certificates; sign-in sessions; your grudges and their dates; Moru’s verdicts; apologies and appeals left on your served pages; what you have unlocked.

Full detail is in the privacy policy at /privacy.

Pricing

Locked pricing intent (App Store billing is not live yet):

There is no subscription. Purchases will go through the App Store under Apple’s terms, and refunds are handled by Apple. This website has no checkout. These lines are not an active Store offer until billing is live.

Serving a grudge

Serving a grudge makes a page that anyone with the link can open. Your name is on it, every time: a grudge cannot be served until your account has a name, and placeholder names like “Anonymous” are refused. The offender’s name and what they did are shown exactly as you typed them, so type them knowing that person may read them.

Acceptable use

Grudgy is for petty grievances between people who can take a joke. Do not use it to harass or bully anyone, to threaten anyone, to humiliate someone in front of others, to expose someone’s private life, to impersonate someone, or to break the law. Do not put private details such as an address, a phone number or someone’s health in a grudge.

Reports and removal

Anyone with the link can report a served page. A reported page stops being shown straight away and cannot be served again. We may remove grudges, pages or accounts that break these terms, and accounts that use serving to harass people will be removed.

If someone is hurting you

Grudgy is not the place. If someone hurt or threatened you, please talk to someone you trust, or contact local emergency services if you are in danger. Moru does not rule on violence, abuse, threats, stalking, sexual violence or self-harm, and those grudges cannot be held or served.

Not advice

Moru’s verdicts are jokes, not legal, medical or relationship advice. A certificate has no legal effect, and a severity is not a finding about anyone.

Deleting the account

In the app: open You, tap Delete account, then Delete everything. Or email hello@grudgy.app from the address on the account. Your grudges, verdicts and unlocks go with it, and every link you served stops working. More detail on /support.

App Store

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If you keep using Grudgy after an update, your account is on the new terms.
