Hold grudges properly.
Log who wronged you and how badly, and the grudge runs for a term that fits the crime: a day for chewing loudly on a call, four years for not being invited to the wedding. When it runs out, you rule. Renew, or forgive.
For iPhone. Questions before launch go to that address.
Hold it. Let it run. Then rule.
Every grudge counts down its term, and nothing forgives one on its own. When a grudge runs out, you get a notification with Renew and Forgive on it. No need to open the app.
How a grudge works
Four steps, every one of them petty.
Hold a grudge
Who wronged you and what they did, in up to 280 characters. Ask Moru the Judge to rule on it, or skip straight to the sentence.
Say how bad it was
Sets how long the grudge lasts. You can renew it when it runs out.
Mildly annoying

Petty

Rude

Betrayal

Unforgivable
4 years
Renew or forgive
When the term runs out, the grudge waits for your ruling. Renew one still running and another term stacks on top; renew an expired one and a fresh term starts now.
Serve the grudge
Send them the certificate. They can apologize, or appeal. Appeals are always denied.
Jake apologized.
“Fine. I will buy you fries.”
Marcus appealed. Denied.
Appeal denied. Moru read it twice to be sure.
The term fits the crime
Five severities, from a day to four years. Pick one to see what it gets you.
None of them quite right? Set your own term, from an hour to ten years. Moru respects precision pettiness.
3 days
e.g. Ate the last of your fries
Renew it while it runs and another 3 days stacks on top.

Moru the Judge rules
Verdict: 3 days. Small crime. Large feelings. Both valid.

Moru the Judge
Tell Moru the yeti who wronged you and what they did. Moru rules on the severity, lists what counts against them, and you accept the verdict or pick a severity yourself.
- 2 verdicts a month on the free plan, 30 with Pro.
- Every ruling is delivered with a straight face. Appeals are not.
Some things are not a joke
If what you describe reads as violence, abuse, threats, stalking, sexual violence or self-harm, in English or Spanish, Moru does not rule on it. You get this answer instead. It costs no verdict, it cannot become a grudge, and the same check runs again when a grudge is held and when it is served.
Moru the Judge
This one is not for Grudge court. If someone hurt or threatened you, please talk to someone you trust, or contact local emergency services if you are in danger.
Serve the grudge
Send them the certificate. They can apologize, or appeal. Appeals are always denied. It arrives as a link to a page with the certificate on it, and nobody needs the app to open it.
Signed, every time
Everyone you serve a grudge sees this name. Grudges are never anonymous. A grudge cannot be served until your account has a name, and stand-ins like “Anonymous” are refused.
They get a say
An apology lands in your activity, with whatever they wrote. An appeal goes to Moru, and is denied.
Anyone with the link can report it
Report this page, at the foot of every certificate, takes it down straight away and for good. You see that it was reported, and it cannot be served again.

No grudges. Suspicious.
Everyone has wronged you at least once. Start with the fries.
A joke, with rules
Grudgy is for petty grievances, and it is built to stay petty.
Never anonymous
A grudge cannot be served until your account has a name, and that name is on the page.
Reported pages come down
Anyone with the link can report it. It stops being shown straight away, and for good.
Delete means gone
Delete account removes your grudges, verdicts, apologies and appeals from the server, and every link you served stops working.
Questions
The things people ask before they hold their first grudge.
No. Grudgy is a joke, and Moru’s verdicts are jokes, not legal advice. A certificate certifies your feelings and nothing else.
